KindCare Takes a Top Choice Award at Rooster’s THC Classic

A Deep Dive into Our Award-Winning “Monkey Grapes” Rosin Vape Cartridge

KindCare is proud to announce that we have received the “Top Choice Award for Rosin Vape Cartridge” at Rooster’s annual THC Classic for our Monkey Grapes submission.

Our vape combines two of our own flowers, Furious George and Dulce De Uva, and was processed by Nokhu Labs in Fort Collins, Co.

These flowers are available to purchase at our KindCare locations, and we have a number of vapes processed by Nokhu Labs available while supplies last: Dulce de Uva, Furious George, Gush Mintz, Mac N Raz, OC Skunk, Orange George, and Port Uva (all made with our in house flower).

Nokhu Labs uses a solventless extraction process which uses only ice water, gravity, heat, and pressure. This process preserves the natural integrity of the plant while avoiding the introduction of external substances.

Step 1: Starting Material

Everything begins with high-quality cannabis flower or hash. Because rosin extraction does not rely on solvents to strip cannabinoids and terpenes from lower-quality material, the starting input must be exceptional.

Step 2: Ice Water Hash (Optional Pre-Step)

In many premium rosin workflows, the cannabis is first processed into bubble hash using ice water extraction. This step isolates the trichomes, the resin glands that contain cannabinoids and terpenes, from the plant material.

The result is a cleaner, more refined input for pressing.

Step 3: Pressing the Rosin

The hash or flower is then placed between parchment paper and subjected to controlled heat and pressure using a rosin press.
